I’ve been hearing from you guys lately wondering where I’ve been and hoping for another yarn bomb soon…Well, I had a baby last month and things are just now settling down. She’s without a doubt my greatest creation ever.
But my latest yarn bomb has been ready for a bit and will be going up soon - so stay tuned!
It’s 4th of July weekend and I’m stuck being very pregnant and not able to do much. Luckily, I live close to a Farmer’s Market where I could hop over and get some good eats for the long holiday weekend…Here go some pics from my visit. Those sourdough donuts were sooooo good!

With the baby countdown nearing an end, I am busily trying to tie up lots of loose ends…Lots of overdue projects like a pair of hearts for a wedding gift (which happened last year), getting the nursery finished, working on my yarn bomb for July, I could go on and on - an endless list of projects that have been dormant for too long. Wish me luck!
I installed my June yarn bomb early this morning at Byrd Park’s Fountain Lake.

You’ll now find there a rainbow bench in a shady spot where you can sit and watch paddle boats or geese go by.

Today is also International Yarn Bombing Day, so I suppose this is my salute to that.

Gotta love a rainbow in the Summertime!
Tomorrow is two days rolled into one - World Wide Knit in Public Day and International Yarn Bombing Day.

I’ll be celebrating them both somewhere in Richmond…Stay tuned!
It’s almost 100 degrees here in Richmond this Memorial Day weekend…and only 1 way for a pregnant chick like me to keep cool!
I thought for this month’s yarnbomb I’d make my version of a Maypole.

This pole used to host a sign for the Museum District, but has since been bare and looking ready for some Summer fun…So I had to oblige!
Just saw a little blurb in this month’s Richmond Magazine mentioning my Bon-Bon Boom bomb. Next up, cover story???
